The Past Year

This past year my whole life changed. Last December I found out I was pregnant. Immediately I was scared to death and didn't know what I was going to do. But everything seemed to fall into place and everything got better. Tim and I moved into our own apartment and began living on our own. It wasn't as tough as we thought until now. On August 27, 2010 our beautiful baby girl Brooke Nicole Mann was born after a long and miserable day. It started at 2:40 that morning when my water broke. I was excited and called everybody! We headed up to the hospital shortly after 3am. When I got there they put me in my room and after I got all settled in I wanted to watch TV....well it ended catching on fire! Yeah, great way to start the day! They moved me to the next room over which luckily they hadn't hooked up my Iv yet. Throughout the day the nurse would check on me and I was progressing slowly. Around 9ish that night they finally said I could start pushing, but we ran into a problem. The baby was face up and was having problems getting under my pubic bone plus I was running a slight fever. Then the bad news came: I was going to have to have a C-section. I was so worn out and tired and terrifed to death at having to have surgery after everything I had already went through. And the C-section is a experience I will never forget. Feeling them cut my stomach open (no pain just a weird feeling) and being jerked every which way (and that was painful) it was just awful and I've already decided with my next baby that I want to be knocked out. But my Brooke was born at 11:19pm. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't give her back for anything in the world.

okay so i completely had forgotten i had this blog...but as of right now no one reads it soo its not like it matters

anyway my summer sucked as usual and im just really looking forward to the fall. just plans for everything fell thru and it just sucked. paramore/no doubt was probably the highlight of the summer it was awesome and no doubt kicked ass and paramore was good too. i've loved no doubt since like forever so it was awesome. i was also supposed to have a fabulous vacation in dallas which included going to twicon but that didn't happen. instead chrissy (my twibabe) and i went to visit our friend in oklahoma...dont get me wrong i had a blast but it just sucked having planned a trip for months and it getting changed the week before you go...i really wish money grew on trees.

oh oh best gift ever was the dorothy (the bipolar bitch) quit iga and now i dont have to deal with her shit every day...yay!!

but im back to reading again and i've enjoyed it a lot. every book i've read was awesome and i can't wait until this fall when some more books come out...

almost a month

i got a tattoo, i know i can't believe it either, i actually went through with it!! um...i've finally started my weight loss journey for good and im doing wonderfully!!

Easter Weekend

We did our family easter on saturday. I went to my grandma's in hammond so visit with my family for a bit. Dinner was yummy. We had ham (of course), cheesy hashbrown stuff, deviled eggs (my fave!!) and rolls. It was pretty delicious. I had plans to go out with some friends, but some of the plans ended up getting messed up, but I still had fun for the most part (I should've just stay home more or less). I went to work this morning after only 5 hours of sleep. I woke up after being there for an hour or so, but I got to go home early because it was soooo dead. Now i'm home, playing around with my blog and chilling on the message boards...I'm getting ready to make tacos in a bit but I'm really not that hungry.

spending problem

okay so im kinda pissed that i spent too much money and dont really have enough to get my tattoo. but since my next paycheck is going to be oh so awesome im going to get my tattoo next saturday!! i have to pay my car payment and a couple other bills but i should have plenty. also the britney spears concert is coming up!! i'm so excited, i can't wait. it's going to be oh so awesome!!

i decided that this weekend im going out...to do stuff that 21 year-olds do and not 15/16 year-olds (movie, go out to eat...okay so 21 yr olds do that stuff but so what) and go to bradley with Katie. i haven't hung out with her in at least a year!! i'm excited, they better have uv blue or idk what i'll drink...beer is icky!!

tattoo...

so i was thinking about going to get a tattoo on wednesday, to be quite honest i'm a little nervous...

i think i'll just get the butterfly for now, even thought i really like the little design too, but i want it on my foot so...that may hurt quite a bit.

First Post

i've wrote blogs before on myspace, but i'm kinda new to this. it's 9:30 in the morning, i've been up since 6 and i'd really like to take a nap, but i have to work at 11. really, today was supposed to be my day off and i'm starting to regret volunteering to work today, but i really need the money. i have 40 hours this week!! yay, kinda. i'm pissed that it snowed today. the one morning that i wake up and want to go for a walk. i still went but my hands were froze and i turned around and came home. this whole losing weight thing is hard. i've been trying for like...idk 5 years. i'm sick of being fat. i keep telling myself that i'm going to do it, but i can't keep up the motivation. i just have to make myself i guess...

i'm stuck on which book to read next. i just finished the morganville vampire series and i love it, i so can't wait until the next book comes out in june. also, i can't wait for the next house of night novel! i want to read eclipse, but something keeps me from picking it up. i have a ton of books that i haven't read yet. i was thinking about finishing evernight next, since i'm already 30 pages into it.
